It’s sometimes hard to know exactly what a sketchbook should contain, especially when you first get started. Whilst there are some useful examples online I’ve put together a resource that goes through a typical art sketchbook step by step, page by page. It uses examples from both GSCE and BTEC art courses, and is generally made up of higher standard work – like that of Distinction or levels 7 to 9 … it’s good to aim high!

This is mainly focused on Art, but some of these examples can also be applied to Photography, and even Media.
