As the final outcome for our BTEC Media unit about digital moving images we create an advert for a fictional chocolate bar – Pop Chocs!
Each student is responsible for planning , directing and editing their own advert, and we always get a variety of imaginative final videos to review.
I’ve included several examples on this page – all achieved either a Merit or Distinction grade, and were very thoroughly planned out, using storyboards, location recces, risk assessments and Call sheets.
Each advert had to fit within a recognizable genre such as comedy, be between 30 and 45 seconds and obviously show off the Chocolate bar that is being advertised.
