I am pleased to share details of our latest Arts Prize – an art competition open to all students and Staff at More House School.
You may submit any one drawing, painting, photo, video or 3D sculpture.
This season our theme is ‘Inside Outside’ – and can be interpreted by you in many different ways. Your artwork could be based around the idea of leaving lock-down, as restrictions are eased. You may be planning on meeting friends and family finally in your garden -you may want to draw or paint something based around seeing them.
You could take the idea literally – and visualise something natural or wild that is inside an interior space – or vice versa. Things like greenhouses, conservatories and zoo buildings come to mind. Maybe you could create something based on a reptile house or aquarium?

Maybe you want to create a work of art based around a place you have visited or want to go to that is similar to the theme of Inside Outside, like the Sky Garden in London – or the Eden Project in Cornwall?

We have categories for different age groups this year – you will go up against artists of a similar age regardless of whether you produce a painting, drawing, video, photograph or 3D sculpture.
The 4 categories are:
Years 4-7, Years 8 & 9, Years 10 & 11 and Sixth form & Staff
Please hand in your art submissions to Mr Aldred, or your Art teacher by the deadline of May 21st 2021. Clearly label your work, with your full name, tutor group and category.
Good luck!
