In this moment of Social Distancing we are very reliant on our comuters to remain productive, and creative – and to this end I have found several online, and best of all FREE artistic apps that we can make use of.
Many of these apps have already been added to your Team class pages for you to use.
Kleki
Kleki is a very simple online artistic sketchpad – it works with mouse, but a touch screen will work even better. Its perfect for doodles, quick ideas and all sorts of visual planning.
PIXLR
Pixlr is a great image and photo editing app that works right in your web browser . its easy to edit photos with all the most common tools you require – crop, resize, adding filters and touching up mistakes.
Animoto
Animoto is a simplistic online video editor that lets you use basic tools, after creating a free account, to edit and add sound to straightforward videos. The free version adds a company logo, and has limited tools – but the basic functions work fine, and its more than enough to complete simple BTEC projects. it wont replace Final Cut, but its a useful online alternative.
