Arts prize Finalists – May 2021

We are pleased to announce the winners of the Spring / Summer 2021 Art Prize, selected from a range of entries that included sculpture, painting, photography and video.

The Visual Arts department were impressed by the lengths some students had gone to create their entries. A special mention should go to Sterling Smith in Year 9 who entered a fantastic short video filmed using his drone along the coast at sunset.

It’s always very hard trying to make a final decision on who should be an overall winner, but it was agreed that the first prize should go to a student who had shown meticulous effort and care in creating their three-dimensional work of art.

Overall Winner – Jamie Dinkeldein
