The first unit we tackle in Year 10 Creative Media is Digital Publishing. This includes learning how to use Affinity Designer – a new graphic design program that is simple to get started with but has some very powerful features ( it’s similar to the more widely used Adobe illustrator , but a lot cheaper!)

In this shorts series of four demos i put together a very basic double-page magazine layout – intended to be read on a digital device like a tablet or laptop. In the unit we would go on to add video and audio content as well as hyperlinks – but in the videos below I cover getting started with just the basics.
