Storyboards, and creating them is an art form in itself – a very successful career can be had by just being a storyboard illustrator ( I shouldn’t say Just – it can be a very challenging job, with stressful deadlines…)

Storyboards can be so eye catching, attractive and full of detail they’re often displayed in galleries and exhibitions, like these boards from Pixar:

One of the best ways of learning how to storyboard is to compare a storyboard with teh finished film action seen on screen. Look at the storyboards from The Dark Knight – and compare with the clip below:
