Not only are they one of my all time favourite French electro-dance Dj duos (along with Daft Punk & Air…) Justice have some fantastic & epic music videos. This one – Newlands, is a retro sci-fi future sport mash-up that has a wealth of elements for media students to pick up on:

Whether it’s the eye-patch wearing anti-hero, reminiscent of Snake plissken

or the psycho rollerskate/ motorbike/ baseball sport that is a close cousin to Rollerball:

this music video is expertly aimed at a media geek audience, even down to the comic book graphic style of the violence depicted.
