Funding -it’s what will pay for you to make your dreams come true. Well, if your dreams are to make a film that is.
There’s a range of ways to get funding in the UK for your film project, including approaching private investors.
But to get you started here are two obvious organisations that it would be worth you getting to know:
The BFI are there to support British filmmakers – and are able to award grants provising certain conditions are met. Find more here:

The British film commission doesn’t directly deal with funding, but is a great source of general information about pre-production – including regulations on location filming. Check them out here:
